Not many people have heard of Sumba. This Indonesian island is a true paradise that doesn’t make the travel bucket list very often but really should. It is an undiscovered oasis. With beautiful beaches and clear blue lagoons, you will want to add it to your list. Sumba is kind of like a lost world and often gets passed over by placed like the Maldives and Thailand. Many times, people pass it over because there is no relevant tourism and headhunting is still a common practice in some parts of the island which turns people off, but it is only a small part of this beautiful place. There are still traditional villages that offer charm and mystery such as Tosi, Wainyapu and Rottenggaro. They each offer a window into traditional culture and uniqueness like many people have never experienced. It is a trip of a lifetime. Leave us a comment if you know of more things that our readers would enjoy. XOXO
